A downloadable game for Windows

WELCOME TO PROJECT JOKYONIM!

Project Jokyonim is a Taekwondo sparring game, in real life. All you need is a computer and a webcam, and the game tracks your body movements using Machine Learning technology powered by MediaPipe Pose Tracking and a custom trained Tensorflow Model! 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Open RunCamera, then go to Dist, and run jokyonim_server. This is the webcam component necessary to play the game.

2. Once the camera loads, and you can see yourself with tracking placemarks placed on you, go in the Project Jokyonim Unity folder and run the .exe

3. Allow network access, as the server (webcam) connects to the client (game) through a network connection. Also, for best experience, stand far back from the camera so that the camera can see your entire body!

4. Play! You have 5 main moves in your arsenal. Going off of a standard kicking stance, you can punch with your left hand, block any attack with a low block with your right hand, you can side kick with your left leg, and roundhouse kick with the right leg.

5. Scoring: Punches stun and are usually not worth points unless they really connect well. Roundhouse and side kicks are 1 point each. If you drain your opponent's stability bar, they'll get knocked down, and that's an extra point!
